Getting started is fast and easy

	Installing AddressBook Downloading and installing AddressBook is simple and takes just a few minutes. Enter your phone number here and a download link will be sent to your Android™-based phone via text message. Click the link to begin the download process. Then simply accept the terms and conditions, create a username and password, and the AddressBook download process will be complete! Getting Started Once AddressBook is installed, it automatically includes the contacts already on your phone. You can add more contacts by hand, or import contacts from the website. 	Import Contacts To import contacts, log in to your AddressBook web account, click ‘Import Contacts’ in the upper right, and follow the instructions provided. Note: If you have Google Sync enabled on your phone, AddressBook uses it to sync between your phone and your Gmail account automatically. You can enable/disable this in your phone by tapping ‘Settings > Data Synchronization’ and checking the Contacts, Gmail, and Calendar options. If you have an Outlook Exchange account on an Android 2.0 phone, do not disable Google Sync. AddressBook utilizes Google Sync to import Exchange contacts on Android 2.0-based phones.
	Manage Notification Find all your latest emails, tweets, newly downloaded MixIns, and more on the Notifications bar. Simply swipe your finger downward from the top of your phone screen. As soon as you tap the alert, it disappears to make room for the next. You can also customize the types of notifications you’d like to receive and from who (see Customize Notifications). Customize Notifications You can customize the types of notifications you’d like to receive and from whom. By default, AddressBook is set to show all notifications, and to poll for new ones daily. You can tap Menu > Settings > MixIns, and then tap Settings for the MixIn you’d like to change. Set the poller to 0 if there’s a notification you don’t want at all. Or increase the frequency by changing the numbers.
	Advanced AddressBook Settings AddressBook Settings make customizing easy. In your AddressBook, simply tap Menu > Settings, and you can set up your personal profile, change sync frequency, customize your installed MixIns, and more. For example: Tap 'Sync' to change how often your AddressBook automatically backs up your contacts. Tap 'Sync Details' to see the last time your phone was backed up and when it is set to back up again. Tap 'MixIns' to get your hands on the settings of each MixIn installed on your phone.
